You ever want to feel old, pay attention to the internet when it tells you how old something is. You’ll start wishing that you didn’t know how old things were, because it reminds you how old you are.
It’s a vicious cycle.
That being said, Spiceworld from the Spice Girls is now 25 years old. We can’t believe it either. This officially means that we’re old.
Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie C and Geri Halliwell are aware that it’s been 25 years and are ready to celebrate. The group will be rereleasing Spiceworld with some new music on it.
Included on the rerelease of the album are new song such as Outer Space Girls and Walk of Life alongside a 15-minute mega-mix called Spice Girls Party Mix. Literally can’t wait to know what Outer Space Girls is – because legitimately sounds like something that we’ll love.
The rerelease will also include Step to Me (7″ Mix) – which premiered in their Pepsi commercial.
“The Spiceworld era was such a fun time for us,” the Spice Girls shared in a statement with People, who debuted the news. “We’d just had a number one album with Spice, we were traveling all over the world and meeting our amazing fans, we released our second album AND we had our very own movie! Who would’ve thought it? It’s crazy to think that 25 years have passed.”
Feels like yesterday that album was released. We’re gonna go now and cry with how old we’re getting.
The rerelease of Spiceworld will hit stores, November 4th.
