There is no shortage of books out there that fit the needs of every reader who loves a good romance. From romance books about people falling in love with vampires, motorcyclists, or medical professionals, everyone is welcome. And being a nurse myself, I enjoy a good romance featuring a hot doctor. That’s why we can’t wait for Heartbeat by T. J. Rudolph to release later this Spring.
While we wait to find out the official release date for Heartbeat, we will leave you with a look at the book’s cover. The colors pop, it lets you know immediately that the characters are in the medical field, and it’s not over the top. From the scrubs on the main characters to the stethoscopes adorning the cover, it hits the mark.

If you want to know more about Heartbeat by T. J. Rudolph, we’ve also got the synopsis below:
Can true love
Two years ago, when Julianna Murillo met and had a fling with Dr. Terrence Rhodes, she was young and naïve about love and romance. Now she’s a different person. One who doesn’t have time for love. She’s finally living her dream as a successful travel nurse, and despite her mother’s wishes, she is not looking to settle down anytime soon. But when she has a surprise reunion with Terrence, old feelings resurface. Feelings that may be strong enough to weaken her resolve. But she’s not sure Terrence is ready for anything more than another casual fling.
Happen more than
On the surface, Terrence seems like the playboy bachelor, but only those closest to him know he is struggling. After losing his wife under tragic circumstances, he vowed never to let love into his life again. Which is why all he wants are casual encounters. Too bad he can’t forget Julianna. And when he reunites with her he’s sure of two things: she still makes his heart race, and he wants her. The problem is, as much as he wants Julianna, the memory of the pain of loss haunts his every moment with her.
Once in a lifetime?
As Julianna and Terrence grow closer, his fear becomes stronger, and he tries harder to pull away. What Terrence doesn’t realize is, Julianna has fears of her own. Even though she is falling for him, part of her is afraid that in loving him, she may lose herself. But she can’t fight what she feels for him, or the desire she has to pull him out of the darkness of grief. As she tries to help him heal the wounds of his past, and reopen his heart, will she be able to keep her own heart safe? Will they be able to overcome their fears? Or will they let them ruin any chances they have to find happiness together?
Before Heartbeat releases, we recommend checking out T. J. Rudolph’s first two books, Crash and Lifeline, part of her series, The Crash Duet.
