The Watchful Eye has us hooked! To liven up the wait until a new episode, we sat down with Mariel Molino, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Aliyah Royale about the humanity of their characters. Ready?
Here we go!
To kick off our The Watchful Eye interview, we made it a little difficult for Mariel Molino, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Aliyah Royale by asking them to tell us what they like most and what they like least about their respective characters. But their answers were worth it because it shows us how all the characters have lights and shadows.
Even if a character does something questionable in The Watchful Eye, there’s always a point where you understand why they doing that thing, even if you don’t support it. That means that the show has imperfect and human characters, with different edges.
After this question, we tried to get Mariel Molino, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Aliyah Royale to give us some goodies of what’s to come in the show…but without it showing (wink, wink). That’s why we asked them their opinion about which character would impact the audience the most… and you have to listen to their answers!
As we mentioned before, in The Watchful Eye all the characters have their lights and their shadows. For this reason, Mariel Molino, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Aliyah Royale discussed with us the advice they would give their respective characters if they were in front of them. And we love it!
Lastly, Mariel Molino, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Aliyah Royale shared some secrets from season 1 of The Watchful Eye. Of course, without spoilers, just little teasers that will make you bite your nails.
Chatting with Mariel Molino, Jon-Michael Ecker, and Aliyah Royale was a real pleasure. They are really sweet and lovely. We can’t wait for you to see all of their fantastic work in The Watchful Eye!
