We watch a lot of TV, in case all the reviews, interviews, news, and features didn’t give you a clue (wink, wink), so we decided to come together once a week to highlight all those great moments that our favorite shows give us throughout the week. In Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?
Here we go!
Badass Character of the Week

Raquel: Frannie from The Confessions Of Frannie Langton. She faces racism and classism to find herself and fight against all those who consider her mere property. You have to have many ovaries to do that thing.
Erin: For me, it’s Nell on Not Dead Yet. Why? Well some may find it to be a stupid reason, but for me it’s not. See friendships are hard and for her to go to Lexi (who is so mean to her) and feel for her and see that she needs her was everything. It reminded me to be there for people, and that the hard exteriors have had some issues and it’s up to us to be there for them. It’s also something that we should embrace – our friends having other friends. It takes a lot of courage to know that there is room for everyone. I loved the moment.
Lizzie: Elllie on The Last of Us. She saved herself. Like, she is a kid and she shouldn’t have to, but she saved herself, and it’s probably gonna be hell to try to process that, but I was so damn proud of her for just …being so smart, so resourceful and so brave.
OTP of the Week

Raquel: Frannie and Marguerite in The Confessions Of Frannie Langton! Their love is forbidden by society for many — and stupid — reasons, but all of that doesn’t matter. Love is love and they fight to be together with everything they have. Bridgerton-style drama and romance in a much crueler world. It’s a YES with capital letters.
Erin: You can ask me this every week and I will happily respond, cause who doesn’t love ships? For me this week, again, Sharon and Vince from Fire Country. When he told her that he could live without her, but didn’t want to, I was equal parts mad and crying. These two love each other so much and so unconditionally. And I love that.
Ashley W.: I haven’t really loved a new ship for a few years, but Nicky and Henry from Kung Fu changed that. So for them to not have been together this third season was saddening. But, now that the season (and possibly series?) finale has come and gone, I’m very happy that Nicky and Henry are back together and endgame. They deserve all the happiness, and the bliss and balance they bring to each other’s lives is so heartwarming. Even after everything they’ve gone through, they continue to trust each other and their relationship. They’re both strong and adventurous individuals but don’t hold each other back.
Moment that made you collapse into a puddle of FEELS

Raquel: Lea getting a mini ban with parts of her old car on the latest episode of The Good Doctor. That somehow keeps the special moments she lived in that car intact in a way that goes beyond memories.
Erin: It’s not a TV or movie moment per say, but it is. It’s the premiere of The Little Mermaid poster. I cried. It’s so beautiful.
Lyra: Ellie and Joel clinging to each other at the end of The Last of Us. It isn’t just a fact that he called her baby girl. It’s the fact that he felt comfortable enough to use those words. Words he only uses for a daughter. And that he’s now used them for Ellie. She is his daughter. And with the way that she held on tightly to him in return, that’s her dad. He makes her feel safe and like she can let the walls down around him. And that bond is something that we never expected in the beginning, yet here we are.
Ashley W.: What Lyra said!!!
Quote of the Week

Raquel: “I don’t need a mini ban.” Lea, The Good Doctor.
Erin: “It’s your life, honey. I want nothing more than for my best friend to get a kidney, except to protect my baby boy. If you want to back out right now, I will drive the getaway car. No questions asked.” – Lily, Fire Country.
Lyra: “It’s okay, baby girl. I got you.” – Joel to Ellie, The Last of Us.
Ashley W.: “Dimples loves you, and it’s clear you love dimples, too, so, just seal the deal already.” – Zhilan to Nicky, Kung Fu.
WTF Moment of the Week

Raquel: Park had to attend to the man with whom his ex-wife cheated on him. I mean, I get why The Good Doctor showed it, but it’s still a weird situation. And with many emotional conflicts that could interfere with the work that needs to be done.
Erin: On The Way Home when grown ass Elliott goes in to kiss Kat, and is like nope, when I do kiss you it will be perfect. Like i get the sentiment of it, but as a shipper, DO NOT give me that and then take it away. My shipper heart can’t take it.
Ashley W.: On The Winchesters (season finale spoilers ahead), the fact that Dean’s Impala was a vessel that helped save the world is both incredibly awesome and very weird. But I’m a sentimental person, so I’ll gladly take the Impala cameo for what it is.
