We could stare at this The Little Mermaid poster for hours. And that’s probably what we’re gonna do, stare at the poster for hours, waiting for the new trailer — which is set to release on Sunday, during the Oscars telecast. And as we stare, we can even wonder … are those scales in her arms? But the answer to the question doesn’t even matter, because the whole thing is mesmerizing either way.
But, we’re not gonna lie, we hope it is. It would kinda make sense. Not that fictional mermaids have to follow any common sense, anyway.
We’d previously gotten to see this clip, and the combo of it all is a lot. In a good way, truly. Give us this movie, Disney, and take our money.
The Little Mermaid will release May 26th.
