This week’s 9-1-1 picked up right where last week ended: with Chim wanting to propose to Maddie. But after all of the unexpected events in “Lost and Found”, the two aren’t even close to being engaged. And Chun is unsure about everything now. The 118 also got to search through a landfill. Some members even got to search through it twice! Let’s review.

Are Chim and Maddie Meant to Be?
At the beginning of “Lost and Found” Chim decided to purchase an engagement ring for Maddie. Once he talked to Hen at the jewelry store and actually decided to buy the ring, he seemed pretty excited. That’s where thing started going wrong. And everything that could have gone wrong, did. First, the guys at the 118 made him nervous and put pressure on him to have a plan for the proposal. Then, he loses the ring. He thinks someone at the 118 stole it just to give him a hard time. Unfortunately, that’s not the case, and to make things worse, Hen’s not 100 percent behind Chim and Maddie getting married.
Regardless of how much we love Maddie and Chim, we understand Hen’s concerns. She knows how hurt Chim was the last time Maddie left, and she doesn’t want to see him go through that again. Chim is her best friend, and she’s looking out for him. We’re glad that Hen and Chim were able to have a honest conversation and clear up their feelings.
At the end of the episode, we discover that Maddie and Chim’s daughter has the ring. But Chim doesn’t know that, and he thinks losing the ring is a sign that he doesn’t belong with Maddie. No, Chim, don’t think that! Hopefully one of them will find the ring soon, and they can finally get their happily ever after. Also, Chim, you don’t need a big elaborate proposal. So don’t let Buck or Eddie or anyone else freak you out.

Lost in a Landfill
Chim wasn’t the only one who lost something this week. One moron lost his hard drive and his friend, the other moron, helped him search for it in a landfill. Yes, a landfill. Well, of course it ended in complete disaster with the two morons getting trapped in the huge pile of trash and a fire breaking out. Luckily, they were both rescued by the 118 and it looks like both of them will survive. We can’t believe all of this trouble was for a hard drive. Because one guy thought he would be rich if he found it. Bad news: he’s still not rich and now he has medical bills to pay.
Chim and Hen had to go back to the landfill to look for his ring after Chim realized it was really missing and it wasn’t a prank, We don’t know how much money that ring was, but we don’t think anything is worth digging through other’s people’s trash. But it was hilarious when Athena put them in her car and gave them a lecture. We needed that laugh. The only other part of “Lost and Found” that was funny was the girl who had horrifically bad breath. But we felt so bad for her that we couldn’t really laugh. But, hey, at least she didn’t lose her teeth. Silver lining?
9-1-1 airs Monday at 8/7c on Fox.
