No one should have to defend their weight loss or weight gain. It’s no ones business but theirs and their doctors. Yet, the world we live in, everyone thinks that they can comment on a persons weight and it is perfectly fine.
News flash – it’s not.
Gracie McGraw, daughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill had to defend her use of Ozempic after some commenter tried to shame her for using it.
She posted a picture of her in a bikini and captioned it, “It’s a gorgeous day for narcissism!”
A commenter responded, “And Ozempic!”
We’re rolling our eyes hard at that commenter, who should STFU and keep their comments to themselves. But Gracie isn’t this writer and she responded with grace and class.
“I did use ozempic last year, yes. I am now on a low dose of mounjaro for my PCOS as well as working out. No need to accuse when I have been open about it,” she responded.
Back in 2022, Gracie was very open about the fact that she was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and her weight. In her post she wrote about using Ozempic.
Not sure why in this day and age we need to shame anyone, but here we are and the world has yet to learn.
Be better people and stop commenting on peoples weight or the medication they’ve taken to loose weight. It’s none of your business. You aren’t their doctor.
