Our fandom heart is so happy right now.
First, let me say that we were a little shocked and surprised at this announcement that Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf were doing a project together. Then we got a little scared because we were afraid that they would be in a romance and fall in love. Not that they wouldn’t be able to do that, but since we are die hard Party of Five fans, it just felt wrong.
The two are set to star in star in A Merry Scottish Christmas, a new original movie set to air on Hallmark Channel during the network’s annual Countdown to Christmas event.
A Merry Scottish Christmas revolves around estranged siblings Lindsay (Chabert) and Brad (Wolf) who travel to Scotland at Christmas to reunite with their mother Jo, played by Fiona Bell, and a big family secret is revealed.
While this gave us a sense of relief, we also loved the fact that they are reuniting as brother and sister.
“Scott and I have talked for years about doing another project together. When we first read this story about these siblings at a crossroads, we both knew it was the perfect opportunity,” said Chabert in a statement.
“Working with Lacey on Party of Five was one of my favorite experiences ever,” said Wolf. “Reuniting after all of these years to tell such a beautiful story together is a dream that I’m so glad is coming true.”
We’re glad that the two are doing a movie together and can’t wait to see it this Countdown to Christmas season.
