We have to admit that we’ve been waiting for this for a long time.
Say what you want about Britney Spears, but what we’ll tell you is that she’s been through a lot and she’s had people speaking for her for too long. So yes, we want to hear her story.
In her words.
The long awaited memoir has gotten a release date. The superstar has announced the release date for The Woman In Me.
“10.24.23,” she captioned the post.
The book promises to give fans, “for the first time her incredible journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history,” and “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.”
“Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery. I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last,” said Jennifer Bergstrom of Gallery Books.
We can’t wait for the inside look and to hear things in her words. It also promises to be a look at “freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.”
We’ve pre-ordered already. Have you?
