We ask, Red, White and Royal Blue delivers. And when it delivers, it breaks us.
To be fair, this is both a delightful deleted scene and one that doesn’t actually fit within the flow of the movie. We get why this one was deleted. The next scene is Henry leaving, and if this actually exists within the movie continuity, then Alex has no doubts that Henry loves him. He probably still storms the castle, lol, but he does so with an understanding of where Henry stands, which is much less dramatic. This changes a lot. So, yeah, This is a scene that probably needed to be cut.
But man, Nicholas Galitzine in this scene. Henry in this scene. We need a minute. Or probably ten. Are we ever going to be okay?
The answer is probably no. We are likely going to need a sequel with these boys being soft and domestic and maybe even angsty but in a we’re angsty together kinda way. Yeah, that’s the only thing that’s going to make it better.
Anyway, here’s the deleted scene. Come suffer with us or something.
