Look, I get being loyal. I think that it’s one of the most important qualities that anyone can have. However, when your friend is an asshole, they are an asshole. That doesn’t mean you rise to the occasion thinking that it’s okay to put others down because it will make them look better.

Timbaland showed his ass by talking about Britney Spears memoir and he said, “I wanted to call and say, ‘JT, you gotta put a muzzle on that.'” Some say he was “joking” while speaking at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC for Sounds Architects: A Producer Conversation on October 30, via Page Six.
A muzzle on a woman telling their truth? Ya, that’s not cute. He went on to be an a bigger asshole by saying that she was trying to get attention.
He also said, “You know what? We live in the age of social media and … everybody want[s] to go viral. I get it because that’s the way you make money [is to] go viral.”
I don’t believe for a second that she’s doing it for the attention. I also have worked in publishing long enough to know that the excerpts that she shared had a lot to do with the publisher. Not her.
And the other obvious – Britney doesn’t need help going viral.
We get that Justin has worked with Timbaland for the majority of is solo career. So, like we’re getting why he thinks he needs to be an asshole, but whatever. Sell your soul.
