Percy Jackson and The Olympians has been given a second life – well the adaptation and we’re loving every single moment of it. We’ll stand by the opinion that this should have been what the movies were – true to the books, characters that you love, and not so overly flashy that you are taken out of the story.
We’ve been obsessed with the show and with the upcoming season finale, we’re already feeling the drought. We’re needing more. We need to know what happens next.
And we say that having already seen that final episode, having read the books, and knowing what has happened. However, what we haven’t seen is the documentary. Yes, there is a documentary coming in conjunction with the final episode.
A Hero’s Journey: The Making of Percy Jackson and the Olympians follows Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as they dive into the world of Greek mythology as told by Rick Riordan.
In the trailer, Walker Scobell says, “It’s so weird, because I’ve been imagining it since like third grade and actually being there, you can’t even describe it.”
The documentary will start streaming on January 30th. See the trailer below –
