We don’t really mind when life surprises us, because hey, if it wasn’t, wouldn’t everything be boring? We kinda think so. We’re adding this to another thing on life that is surprising us and well, we think that it may surprise a lot of you.
Maya Henry, who most of us know as Liam Payne’s ex-fiance (but we’d like to state we know that’s not what defines her), has written a book. Yes, a book. And if we’re looking at the cover, we’re not gonna lie, we’re thinking that it may have something to do/be inspired by her time with Liam Payne.
True, it come be a red herring – who knows. We do know that we will read it. We’re not here to drag her and we don’t think anyone should. Whatever it was inspired by, this is a road to her healing.
And everyone deserves to heal.

She posted the cover, but also warned that the book, “contains sensitive material relating to: abuse, violence, self-harm, drug and alcohol use, eating disorders, and abortion.”
“2020 was a dark and scary time for all of us. I was coming off a period in my life filled with a lot of pain. However, I learned that the great thing about pain is that it can inspire something beautiful. Writing has always been my passion, and I journaled about my experiences throughout the pandemic. Eventually, this journal evolved into a novel,” Maya she captioned the post on Instagram.
She continued, “I’m very nervous to share a project that was once my most personal outlet of joy and freedom – a story I never intended to share. I hope that by doing so, anyone out there experiencing similar trauma and hardships as my main character will feel less alone. More details coming soon.”
Will you read it? What are your thoughts?
