Doctor Odyssey Season 1, Episode 6, ‘I Always Cry At Weddings’, is the first episode of the season that isn’t dedicated to a specific week. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a special event taking place. As the episode title says, there’s a wedding on board The Odyssey, and based on the promo, it does not look like it will be drama-free. We’ve got the groom saying, “All of this is a lie,” and the bride, played by guest star Kelsea Ballerini, cries while saying, “This is all my fault.” Just what they are both referring to, we haven’t a clue. One thing is for sure: the groom appears to have some icy cold feet.
We don’t know anything about these two who are supposed to be headed for wedded bliss, but we do know that they’re both going to come down with something that Max, Avery, and Tristan will have to treat. The groom has a nasty rash, and the bride is throwing up. Maybe it was a reaction to that black wedding cake. Seriously, who orders a black wedding cake?
Amid all that wedding drama, we also look forward to seeing what non-medical shenanigans Max, Avery, and Tristan get up to. Will the wedding vibes give them some Romantic feels? Will we see Tristan and Vivian? Where is Vivian? Surely, she’s working on the menu. What about Max and Avery? Will they take their relationship to another level? Or will everyone just be far too busy treating patients they can’t have a moment of peace? From the looks of Avery relaxing on that chaise lounge while talking to Max, they might have a little free time.
