Law & Order Season 24 Episode 7 “Truth And Consequences” is almost here, and we have a sneak peek of guest star Michaela Watkins as Judge Madeline Bennett! And no, this isn’t the type of scene where you’d expect to see a judge on one of these shows. As in, we’re not in the courtroom right now, folks. Why? Well, that would be because the judge’s husband has recently been murdered. Naturally, part of the investigation involves questioning people who might know something, but for some reason, Watkins’ character doesn’t seem to want to cooperate with the squad.
In our exclusive clip, Detectives Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) and Riley (Reid Scott) interrogate our judge. As you’ll see below, Shaw knows Madeline’s lying to them, and she…seems surprised by that reveal. Meanwhile, Brady (Maura Tierney) and Baxter (Tony Goldwyn) watch the whole conversation and have a bit of a healthy debate. Is Judge Bennett being evasive, or is she just tired after a major personal loss? And is she hiding something because she’s guilty of a crime, or does she have some other reason? You’ll definitely want to tune in for this one to find out!
