Things look like they’re getting intense in The Hunting Party Season 1, Episode 5 ‘Roy Barber’. There’s a lot to be wary about when watching characters interact with each other. The team doesn’t fully trust each other yet. Trust is the most important thing for a team to work together to the best of their ability. If it’s not there, being nice or protective of each other on the field is only going to take you so far before things go wrong.
The Hunting Party Season 1, Episode 4 ‘Doctor Ezekiel Malak‘ showed us how the team has fractured edges. Shane is hiding a big secret from the others about how his father is connected to The Pit. Hassani tolerates Oliver until he finds more information about his sketchy involvement with the blast. Although Bex is helping Hassani figure out if Oliver’s a bad guy, she has a romantic past with Oliver that could complicate their search for the truth. And Morales is a great tracker who we don’t know much about yet.
We believe the trio team of Bex, Hassani, and Shane is already established. But when it comes to how they act with each other when Oliver is involved, it’s like they break apart and let Bex do the talking for the guys. We get it. Hassani doesn’t trust him as much as he trusts Bex or Shane. We have a long way to go before this five-person team can act like a found family.
Therefore, we wish someone could write this down in their headquarters as a reminder. Don’t let your personal issues follow you into work. They haven’t made the mistake yet but it’s nice to remember. Why? Because there’s a killer to find that’s targeting innocent couples who don’t see him coming. The victim count is climbing and there are lives to save.
