9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 18 “Seismic Shifts” acts as the continuation of the previous episode “Don’t Drink the Water.”
A high-rise building, that Athena was just on a call at, collapses. When she calls in for backup, of course the 118 are on the scene. Everything takes a turn for the worst when the building seemingly collapses a little more, trapping members of the 118 inside with Athena. And from what we can tell from the promo photos and video promo, Buck and Ravi are trapped together and so are Athena and Chimney.
Considering Athena’s reaction to Chimney in 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 17 “Don’t Drink the Water,” them being trapped together is absolutely going to be an opportunity for them to work together and through the grief that they’re both dealing with. As for Buck, we’re hoping that this is the sign that Eddie needs to stay in LA and be with his people. And for Ravi, lately he’s felt like he’s on the cusp of leaving. Maybe this is his turning point too?
