There was something about Ransom Canyon that captivated us. We loved the storyline, the actors, the cliffhangers. In fact all of it felt like we were invading someones privacy, because it felt as though it was something that could be a real story.
The show, which was renewed for a second season has promoted Casey W. Johnson to a regular for season 2. Johnson plays Kit Russell, the man from the wrong side of the tracks whose father abandoned him and his brother. He’s trying to raise his brother and make sure that he has a good life. Kit loves his little brother, Lucas, more than anything. Although Kit did some really shady things that resulted in him in jail, he is not a bad person. He just wants to be loved. His character had an important part in the mystery of the accident that killed Randall.
Love, man. It will make you do crazy things.
Starring in Ransom Canyon are Minka Kelly, Josh Duhamel, Eoin Macken, Garrett Wareing, Philip Winchester, Lizzy Greene, Andrew Liner, and James Brolin. The second season is set to begin production this fall in New Mexico.
