Lizzie and Lyra continue their rewatch of 9-1-1 Season 1 with their Tales From the 118 episode for “Trapped.” And like the title says, everyone is trapped. From the mother and son in the elevator, to Athena in her handcuffs, and Abby with her mom. All different forms of being trapped.
Even Buck is in “trapped” mix, trapping himself in a relationship after some bad advice from Bobby. Sorry, not sorry but Bobby doesn’t know Abby. And Abby hasn’t told Buck, “Hey, I want to have a serious relationship. Also, help me take care of my mom?”

As for Athena, there’s something so wonderful about seeing her move forward with her life. She got married because her biological clock was ticking. She stayed in a marriage that was crumbling for her children. And now she’s divorcing for herself. That takes strength.
The one saving grace is that we’re closer to the 9-1-1 Season 1 finale. That means goodbye Abby Clarke. And hello Maddie Buckley and Eddie Diaz!
