Lizzie and Lyra welcome Season 9 of 9-1-1 in their review of “Eat the Rich” where the rich literally get eaten by a whale, Hen and Athena going to space makes sense, and the dynamics have shifted for everyone.
For one, Buck is a little too invested in Hen and Eddie seemingly becoming besties now that they’re paired up. Thank God for Ravi being the voice of reason. And Chimney, he’s adjusting to being the boss while trying to live up to Bobby’s name. But he doesn’t have to worry. He’s doing a good job.

Then there’s Athena. The grief is being held at bay. And when it hits her, it’s going to be bad. Until then, space it is as a billionaire gets involved with the 118. And after months of speculating what could actually get them in space… it makes sense. Hen would do this if it meant helping her fellow firefighters.
