Following the events of The Rookie Season 8 Episode 3, taking the photos, promo, and synopsis as a starting point, let’s speculate about The Rookie Season 8 Episode 4 ‘Cut and Run’!
In this episode, important news are coming for Bailey and Nolan. They spend time away from the city but witness a murder. That means that the pleasure and vacations end soon and the problems begin. They will try to find the killer in a race against time. Nolan should consider planning a vacation to the beach or a desert island with Bailey. Somewhere where they won’t encounter these things. That said, it’s going to be an interesting case, although it reminds us a bit of Prague. And we still don’t understand why Bailey always ends up involved in situations where she acts more like a cop than a firefighter…
In addition to this, Bailan has another obstacle ahead of them. From what we see in the promo, Bailey has been offered a position in Washington. This would be a breakthrough in her career and Nolan is willing to pursue it. The problem is that that he would be starting from scratch. Everything he achieved in these 5 years – by the way, it is good to know the timeline –, such as passing his training or becoming a training officer, would be erased.
This is one of the biggest problems the couple faced. Whatever they decide, one of them is going to have to give up something important to stay together. According to the synopsis, Bailey and Nolan won’t be the only ones who have complicated decisions ahead of them. Wopez does it too. And we can’t imagine what it is about. Will it have to do with their children? Or with Wesley’s work? We can’t wait to find out! And we are also dying to continue seeing Chenford living together with all the details of their day to day life.
