There are several cities in this world that are never a bad idea and Paris is definitely one of them. Yes, Paris Is Always A Good Idea. The book of the same name is coming to life for Hallmark+. The adaptation of Jenn McKinlay’s book of the same name is coming to life in a six episode limited series.
Lacey Chabert and Scott Michael Foster are starring in the adaptation alongside, Rebecca Hanssen (The Witcher, Love Through a Prism), Henry Czerny (Revenge, Ready or Not) and Barbara Niven (Chesapeake Shores, The Christmas Baby).

Career-driven nonprofit executive Chelsea Martin (Chabert) travels to Paris with her confident rival-turned-ally, Jason Knightly (Foster) to secure a major donation but a heartfelt message from her late mother – and a loving push from her sister Annabelle (Hanssen) – sends her on an unexpected journey to reconnect with the three great loves she once left behind. From the rolling hills of Ireland to the magic of Paris and the sun-kissed vineyards of Spain, Chelsea retraces old footsteps and discovers that sometimes moving forward means first looking back.
Rounding out the ensemble cast are Stephen Hagan (Love of the Irish), Julien Marlon Samani (An Alpine Holiday) and Alejandro Albarracín (Dreams of Freedom).
“We can’t wait for viewers to come along on Chelsea’s journey of self-discovery, healing and – of course – unforgettable romance,” began Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming, Hallmark Media. “We know Lacey will bring a warmth and authenticity that will draw viewers into Chelsea’s world as she goes down this exciting path that ultimately leads her to the love she didn’t know she was looking for.”

Chabert also serves as an executive producer on the series alongside Carrie Stein, Daniel March, Mike Benson, Rachel Gesua, Heidi Cole McAdams and Lauren Muir. Lauren Muir also serves as showrunner.
We can’t wait to hear more about this adaptation and will definitely be watching when it premieres later this year.
