When it comes to 9-1-1 9×15 “Pick Your Poison,” Lizzie and Lyra from the Tales From the 118 podcast agree that it’s one of the best episodes this show has ever done. Oliver Stark’s acting was top notch as his character Buck struggled with his addiction and the withdrawal that came after. And when he needed help, everyone chipped in, closing ranks and proving that found family is this show’s strength.
On non-Buck related notes, they also enjoyed Athena’s investigation, even if it was a little cheesy. Also, did we need to spend those extra minutes on the dad and his kid? Probably not. And on May and Ravi, both agree that for Mayravi to work we need to know more about Ravi. Because how is it that we’ve seen more of Ravi this season than May and she’s a series regular? Maybe all of this can be solved by making Ravi a season regular!
They discuss that all and more in their newest episode of Tales From the 118!

Have you read Lizzie’s review for 9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 15 “Pick Your Poison”? Here’s a preview:
“9-1-1 Season 9, Episode 15 ‘Pick Your Poison‘ is the kind of episode that reminds you that procedural television, even on shows that sometimes are borderline absurd, isn’t just a place for repetitive storylines and no character development. I’d argue it never really was, but especially in the last decade or so, procedural television has become a great medium for high-caliber actors and sometimes wild storytelling swings.”
