After a short break between episodes, Law & Order Season 25 Episode 18 “Ride or Die” is almost here! This franchise is known for its guest stars, and the upcoming all-new episode will feature Kelli Williams, who viewers will know from The Practice and Army Wives. Williams plays a news anchor named Ann Merrick. In the clip below, Lieutenant Brady (Maura Tierney) and Detective Riley (Reid Scott) are interviewing her as part of their latest murder investigation because someone she took under her wing…is now dead.
She claims to have been very supportive of the victim and says she helped her out “wherever possible” because “it’s a tough business for women.” Did she help the reporter, whose stories she calls “ambitious” in the clip, straight to an early grave? We’ll all have to tune in to find out, but something interesting definitely happens when Riley questions her alibi there. Then again, Ann also seems to be sincerely troubled when she mentions the “great things” the victim was going to do, too…Hm.
