“Can I keep you,” Casper asked in the 1995 movie.
Casper was one of our favorite movies and to many of us stopped in our tracks, wanting her to allow him to. But this was the movies, we were young and idealistic. However, we’re now older and well… we still wish Casper could have.
And now we’re getting more Casper? A live action Casper television show? Yes please.
Disney+ landed a new series take on Casper The Friendly Ghost after an extensive five way bidding war. Turns out that we’re not the only ones that want more of Casper and for that we’re thankful.
Do you think anyone knows anything about the show? Well, if you don’t think so you would be correct. Details under wraps and all that. Well and it’s still in its beginning stages so maybe they don’t know either.
The live-action project comes from Rob Letterman and Hilary Winston, who also produced Goosebumps.
This isn’t the only Casper news as of late. Earlier this month it was reported that Peacock was also moving forward with a take on Casper The Friendly Ghost.
What do you want to see in the series? Are we looking for a dark twist? Tell us all the things.
