9-1-1: Nashville Season 1 Episode 18 “Intrusive Thoughts” will hopefully free Blythe from the hot mess that is Don Hart.
Last we left off in “Saboteurs” he was upset more with Blythe about her past than his ex Dixie destroying Blythe’s life, his life, and everything that they’ve worked on. He went and walked out, leaving Blythe to try and figure things out alone. And we’re kind of done with him to the point where we hope he messes up with Blythe so bad that Blythe is finally able to set herself free.

In the promo for the Season 1 finale we might see Don indeed messing up. Because it teases a possible kiss between Don and Dixie. The promo also features Blythe having enough and basically tackling Dixie before they just start fighting. Unfortunately, the title clues us in that this might just be a series of intrusive thoughts and not reality. (Which is a bummer because we need that fight and we need that divorce.)
The photos and synopsis really don’t share much about the season finale.
If anything, they solidify that the main problem of Season 1 finale is the implosion of Blythe and Don’s marriage and that Noah Cyrus is going to be stuck on a horse in the air. And we’re hoping, truly hoping, that Dixie gets what’s coming to her, especially with the secrets that she oh so mysteriously has. Don too. He has it coming.
