Most of us grew up knowing that our parents said that we had to try things at least once. It’s definitely not something that we enjoyed, because some stuff is just gross. Liver and Onions? Hard pass.
But according to Megan the Stallion we’re all going to need to try the viral butter ice cream. It is a swirl of creamy vanilla soft serve made with organic A2 milk, dipped in a thin “shell” made with Isigny Ste. Mère butter from France and a sprinkle of fleur de sel, and a mochi surprise at the bottom of the waffle cone.
Well atleast that is the one that is at Papa d’Amour NYC.
On Instagram and TikTok she said that she hoped that it was “as good as it looked,” even though she said she doesn’t know, “if it’s as good as it sounds.”
There is even one that has a “sweet corn soft serve dipped in Isigny Ste. Mère French butter, topped with Cotija cheese and Tajin for a salty spicy kick, with a fresh lime wedge to squeeze overtop.”
She went on to say that it “is not how it looks on TikTok.” We’re assuming that means drippier, but “the ice cream is a 10 out of 10.”
Megan went on to say that she thought it would be better if it was caramel ice cream and butter. That does sound delicious.
We’re gonna have to try this. Would you?
