Like all reality TV, Married at First Sight left us shocked after the latest batch of episodes. At the final group dinner, Mecca admitted that he wasn’t attracted to BelléJolie when they first met. The people at the table were shocked, the hosts were shocked, and we were shocked.
Bellé goes on to ask him, “You weren’t physically attracted to me?” And instead of smoothing this comment over or trying to explain himself in a way that wouldn’t hurt her feelings even more, he said, “Not at a level that felt comfortable to me. I was like, okay, this girl’s pretty. She looks good. Pretty. Is she pretty enough for me?” He then shook his head no.

Now we’re seeing the aftermath of that conversation. In our exclusive clip we see Mecca and Bellé seemingly getting ready for bed. And he isn’t giving her space to process what he said. If anything, it feels like he’s trying to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal. And honestly, even if it wasn’t said in front of all their friends, yes, it’s a big deal.
