Though celebrities relationships are none of our business, I have to admit I did some hating on Joe Alwyn after he and Taylor Swift broke up. What can I say, I am a loyal Swiftie. That being said, life has moved forward, she’s married and I honestly don’t really think about it much. But, lately his name has come back up because he’s been spotted around New York.
And one thing I do love when a celebrity has been spotted with another celebrity is speculation. Are they dating? Are they not? We may never know.
Joe Alwyn is starring opposite Mary Beth Barone in Still We Met, an original romantic comedy inspired by her own experiences. I love when something is based on a persons life, because it means that they put extra care into the writing of something. You feel the human element and it doesn’t feel like a movie. It feels like you are watching someones life and you shouldn’t be.
Weird, I know.
The movie will be directed by Zackary Drucker, who is behind the Emmy-nominated short-form docuseries This Is Me.
Gonna admit that I didn’t know much about Barone, but she’s a comedian. She star oppsite Benito Skinner in the Amazon/A24 comedy Overcompensating. She’s also got a new TV show for Hulu coming up entitled Hard Feelings. The movie is said to be about, “a young woman at a crossroads who meets a charming British stranger and spends one unforgettable night wandering New York.”
I am excited AF for this and love so much that she shut down so much with her Instagram post, “hard launching this project 😍”
Goes to show you that people shouldn’t be speculating all the time.
