While the opening emergency might be over for 9-1-1 after the events of “Streets of Fire,” 9-1-1: Nashville Season 2 Episode 4 “In Cold Blood” is still dealing with The Pharaoh. Their biblical crimes really haven’t led anywhere clue wise. But we know that they’re now targeting first responders for helping the people that they’re trying to punish.
Somehow… this all leads to Dixie. Because she’s been MIA since the 9-1-1: Nashville Season 2 premiere. But now The Pharaoh is after her and *checks notes* targets her flight with snakes. Or to be more accurate, they look like cobras. And this comes after The Pharaoh almost killed a bunch of people, including Blythe, with poisoned eye drops in the previous episode.

From what we’re getting from the promo and the photos, this plane emergency isn’t going to take up the whole episode. But it will have silly moments like LeAnn Rimes singing “Amazing Grace” as snakes surround them because reasons. After the plane emergency is over though, there seems to be a focus on Don and Ryan connecting with Rogue on his past and Cammie having a new dispatch manager.
Personally, I’m more interested in what’s coming next for Blythe and Dixie in “In Cold Blood” based on the picture of them face to face. Because I’m still of the mind that if they stop fighting over a man, they could actually be something more. Maybe just friends. But those two have a rivalry, connection, whatever you want to name it that is more electric than anything going on with Don. Sorry, not sorry.
