‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ 2×10 Review: “First First Contact”

We’ve been boldly going all season with Lower Decks this year! Episode 2×10, “First First Contact” really sets the bar high for next season. Here are some of the things I enjoyed the most in “First First Contact” and a few of my expectations for season three. 

‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ 2×09 Review: “wej Duj”

The three ships we encounter give us a perspective we’ve not really seen before in any Star Trek. We get a peek at how the lower decks operate in Vulcan and Klingon ships. Even the cool logic of the Vulcans and the robust emotion of the Klingons are not immune to the bureaucracy of the lower decks.

It’s an episode that manages to embody the heart of all Trek shows–working together as a crew to overcome adversity–while also bringing madcap humor and deep-cut Trek references galore!
