One can’t talk anything about The Mortal Instruments without talking about Clace. Clary Fray’s story is the center of the universe and it’s part of the reason that we fell in love with the books.
Sitting down with Kat McNamara and Dominic Sherwood at Wondercon we have to admit we were distracted by Dom’s accent and we have to admit – we wished that it was always there.
When asked about the last episode and learning that Jace and Clary were brother and sister, Dominic and Kat admitted that they couldn’t say much, but that we would learn more over the next few episodes. “We really can’t say much.” Dom said.
When they talked about the show and the second season – they talked about pouring their heart and soul into the show. The thing about Dom and Kat – they are always so humble and have such a love for the fans.
“A big thank you to the people that support us,” he said.
When asked about Clary being a role model, Kat had a great response.
“I think Clary’s a great role model for young girls, and so is Isabelle,” she said, “Simply because they’re characters that are so passionate and they are smart and intelligent and strong women who aren’t afraid to take chances.”
And all they could tell us about the end of this season was that the season finale was a cliffhanger of epic proportions.
