According to EW, the musical episode of Once Upon a Time, airing this spring, will feature seven songs. Better yet, news has started to come out about who will be lending their voices to the musical extravaganza.
Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma Swan, will have her own big solo. And while we’re over the moon for that, we’re also crossing our fingers and hoping for a duet with Hook, her true love.
Morrison told EW that she was excited for the opportunity to do a musical episode for Once Upon a Time.
“It’s one of those things we’ve all thought about. Most of us have musical theater backgrounds or have had singing in our lives, or music in our lives, in some way. We’ve joked about it, thought about it. We’re all just listening to each other songs now trying to work out how the songs fit together and what the story-line is.”
While details are scarce, we also know that Lana Parilla, who plays Regina Mills and the Evil Queen, will be singing as well. TVLine reported that there will be a sing-off between the show’s original rivals – the Evil Queen and the Charming’s. It’s promised to be grand and royally entertaining.
We’re definitely going to be keeping our eyes out for more details about who else is singing and how they got into this mess in the first place.
Once Upon A Time is currently on hiatus. It’ll return with new episodes on Sunday March 5th, on ABC.
