We’re excited for Roswell, as you all know. In addition to being fans of the original series, we’re thrilled with the casting.
Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons, Lily Cowles, Michael Vlamis, Tyler Blackburn and Heather Hemmens had previously been cast. But in addition to them, our favorite werewolf (sorry Jacob Black) has joined the cast of the reboot. The reboot comes from two of our favorites from The Originals – the team of Carina Adly MacKenzie and Julie Plec.
That’s right – Michael Trevino (who played Tyler Lockwood on TVD) has joined the cast. Who will he play? Well that would be Kyle Valenti — the son of the sheriff. If you watched the original, the role was first played by Nick Wechsler.
The re-imagined Roswell is based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz, but the reboot has an immigration twist. It follows Liz, who is the daughter of undocumented immigrants, as she returns to the town of Roswell, New Mexico. It’s there that she discovers that Max, the dude she’s fallen for is an alien.
Now, this one of the potential CW shows. We don’t know if it will be picked up, but we’re crossing our fingers.
Are you excited about Roswell?
