Millie Bobby Brown Addresses Bullying In Awards Acceptance Speech

We live in a world today where it seems like everyone thinks that they can say what’s on their mind and people think that social media is an excuse to just be rude as fuck sometimes. There is such a thing as difference of opinion, but there is also such a thing as productive conversation.

To be frank, trolls suck.

But as we live in the digital age, we have come to expect to face things and we know that somethings can get you down. But take it from me – it’s not worth it – trolls and bullying are not worth your spirit and your heart.

Millie Bobby Brown addressed the issue at the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

“Since I know there are many young people watching this, and even to the adults, too, who could probably use the reminder that I was taught — if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say it,” Millie said at the show “There should be no space in this world for bullying and I’m not going to tolerate it and neither should any of you. If you need a reminder of how worthy you are and to rise above the hate, message me on Instagram.”

We’re inspired by you Millie. Thank you for inspiring others.
