The Crown is one of our favorite TV shows. We look forward to it premiering on Netflix each and every season. We’re going to admit we’re a little weary of the third season, because it’s all new people.
And that scares us.
Because messing with perfection doesn’t always go over easy.
But as we move into the third season, we knew that there would be more castings. That means a new Lord Snowdon: Ben Daniels has been cast as Antony Armstrong-Jones. Jones, the husband to Princess Margaret, was previously played by Matthew Goode. Princess Margaret will be played now by Helena Bonham Carter.
There is quite the time jump between seasons 2 and 3, but we’re looking forward to it. Also recast were Claire Foy and Matt Smith’s Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip. The will now be played Broadchurch‘s Olivia Coleman and Outlander‘s Tobias Menzies, respectively.
Are you excited for season 3 of The Crown?
