Look, I don’t know about you, but I’d been waiting for this release date to make Christmas plans. And like, vacation plans. It feels like I’m going to need a day or two to recover and regroup from what I assume will be an avalanche of feels, because WE ARE SAVING RUFUS.
And now, we have a date. NBC will air the two-hour Timeless movie event on December 20th at 8/7c!

Yes, I’m calling it a movie event. Because as much as I hope these two hours give me closure, happy Rufus and some Lyatt love, I really, really hope they don’t close it all in a way that means we can’t pick back up. So, Timeless, give me, as NBC promised: “an epic, unforgettable thrill ride through the past, present and future, with a healthy dose of Christmas spirit,” but don’t give me an ending.
I’m not really ready for a life without Timeless. And I’m pretty darn sure I’m not the only clockblocker feeling this way.
NBC also had this to say about the two hour event: “Spread across three centuries and two continents, the finale will test Lucy, Wyatt and the entire Time Team like never before as they try to #SaveRufus, preserve history and put a stop to Rittenhouse once and for all.”
Who wants to join me in ignoring the words finale and once and for all? Y/Y?
