What if the choice between right and wrong is not black and white?
That’s the question that our heroes Tyrone and Tandy face in the trailer for season 2 of Freeform’s hit Cloak & Dagger. In the official trailer for the anticipated sophomore season, we see Tyrone and Tandy begin to embrace their powers, which means that they must face their destiny. Which means their love story is just beginning (squee!). And, ultimately, one of them will die.
But before we get there, Tyrone and Tandy will face new troubles, including a sex trafficking ring that has taken over New Orleans. And while that might seem like their biggest foe, that’s nothing like the mayhem that’s about to be unleashed.
That’s right, Detective O’Reilly is about to embrace her inner mayhem following the tragic loss of a loved one that sent her spiraling. Ultimately, she’s the one that will raise the point of “the choice between right and wrong is not black and white.”
While it appears as if Tyrone and Tandy will be doing more teaming up — “You and me saving the world,” ah sweet music to my ears — it won’t be without conflict. While Tyrone believes the way that O’Reilly is going about things is wrong, Tandy can’t help but see that she’s taking out the scum in this city. So what could be wrong about that? It’s a moral dilemma that our two heroes will face together and alone as their journey continues to take them on a crash course to their destiny.
