Legacies. This show has our hearts and our Thursday nights.
But, me, I appear to be a bad Legacies fan, because I didn’t know that Chris Lee, who has recurred since the first season of the CW’s Legacies, wasn’t a series regular. But apparently he was just recurring because it was announced today that the actor has been upped to series regular.
Additionally, Olivia Liang has been tapped for a recurring role.
If you aren’t familiar with Legacies, it’s a spin off of The Originals. It follows Hope Michaelson, the daughter of Klaus Michaelson, and others as they navigate life in Mystic Fall as they navigate life at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. They of course of learning how to use their supernatural abilities while there – so there is a crap ton of drama.
Lee plays Kaleb – who is kind of a dick, but kinda one of the best characters on the show, because Kaleb is fearless. He’s taken MG under his wing, which hey, makes us love him even more.
Liang will play Alyssa Chang, a witch who likes to start all the drama.
Legacies airs Thursdays on The CW.
