Here at Fangirlish, it’s a known fact that we love us some Jamie Dornan and Sebastian Stan so if you put them in a movie together, you better believe we are lining up to watch.
The trailer for their new film ‘Endings, Beginnings’ was just released and we can’t wait. Ever since the cast was announced back in 2018, I have been chomping at the bit for this. The movie directed by Drake Doremus (Like Crazy, Equals) stars Shailene Woodley as Daphne a young woman caught in a love triangle with two friends Jack (Dornan) and Frank (Stan).
Film Synopsis via IMDb.com
Reeling from a bad recent break-up, Daphne (Shailene Woodley) finds herself adrift in life. Living in her sister’s guesthouse, she regularly witnesses her sibling and her brother-in-law fighting, which only exacerbates the once-idealistic Daphne’s growing despair regarding long-term love. Then, at one of her sister’s parties, Daphne meets Frank (Sebastian Stan) and Jack (Jamie Dornan). Both are enormously attractive to her, albeit in very different ways: one is the free-spirited bad boy, unpredictable, and always ready for adventure; the other is sober, intelligent, sensitive, and invested in his career as an academic. Unable to choose between these almost polar opposites, Daphne finds herself bouncing between them instead, enjoying the distinct ways each man sees her — it’s as though she’s auditioning different versions of herself and the life that might be waiting for her. But fate has a way of making decisions for us, and the time soon comes when Daphne is forced to accept that having it all might just be a disguise for having nothing.
The synopsis of this film sounds amazing, and I mean, who wouldn’t want to be caught in a love triangle with Jamie Dornan and Sebastian Stan? The trailer for ‘Endings, Beginnings’ looks so good and while it’s got a lot of passion, it definitely has so much angst, which Drake Doremus is known for. I can tell this film is going to be emotional and I am ready to feel all the feels.
Take a look at the trailer and see for yourself.
“Everything might not be okay. But that’s okay.”
Such an angsty trailer right? I love Shailene Woodley. She is such a great actress that knows how to showcase heartbreak. I can’t wait to see how everything turns out for Daphne and I’m even more curious to see what will happen with Jack and Franks friendship because everyone knows you don’t break the “bro code” by going after your friends girl.
‘Endings, Beginnings’ hits theaters May 1, 2020.
