Romantic Comedies are what I need more of in my life. I feel like they bring a sense of happiness and joy in my life – especially when everything seems so fleeting.
It’s been awhile since there has been what seems to be that kind of show on television. It feels like you have to go to the movies for them.
ABC has a brand new show coming out this April, called The Baker and The Beauty and it feels like it is the show that may fill the need for a Rom-Com on my TV.
Daniel Garcia is working in the family bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. But on a wild Miami night he meets Noa Hamilton, an international superstar and fashion mogul, and his life moves into the spotlight. Will this unlikely couple upend their lives to be together and pull their families into a culture clash?
It sounds definitely like something I need in my life right now.
The Baker and the Beauty stars Victor Rasuk as Daniel Garcia, Nathalie Kelley as Noa Hamilton, Carlos Gómez as Rafael Garcia, Dan Bucatinsky as Lewis, Lisa Vidal as Mari Garcia, David Del Rio as Mateo Garcia, Belissa Escobedo as Natalie and Michelle Veintimilla as Vanessa.
