I have to admit I am over Zoom, but I also know that returning to studios, productions, and shooting is scary. The safety precautions that need to be taken are huge, time consuming, and costly.
But safety comes first. This pandemic isn’t going away – we all may be over it, but it’s not over. We’re in the middle of it. So regardless of if we are over Zoom, we need to be patient.
While many movies and television shows are going back into production, talk shows are a different medium. The shows thrive off a live audience and they can’t have one right now.
The Kelly Clarkson Show has made plans for the second season.
So Clarkson had been doing her show virtually, but she’s returning to the studio to shoot the second season. According to Variety, the show will also feature a combination of live and virtual interviews with guests from film, television and music industries, as well as everyday people who are agents of change in their communities.
But an audience? Not in the studio. The Kelly Clarkson Show will feature a live, virtual studio audience. Taping of the show will abide by CDC guidelines.
