Teresa Palmer, the star of A Discovery of Witches and our Diana Bishop, is more than just a talented actress. She’s a mother, a mood since she was younger, and super resilient when it comes to life. In an effort to get to know her better, and because A Discovery of Witches is right around the corner, here are 6 things you should know about the multifaceted Teresa Palmer.
1. She respects her cast mates by wearing a mask.
We stan a queen who knows that this pandemic is a real and continuing threat. And no matter where she goes, no matter who she works with, she cares for everyone and their health by wearing a mask. Learn from her. Be like her.
2. She loves her family to the moon and back.
If there’s one thing you should know about Teresa Palmer is that she loves her family. They are the reason why she rises in the morning and what gives her calm in her sleep. How do we know that? Because the pictures speak louder than anything else.
3. She understands and likes her fans.
Only a queen acts the way she does when it comes to how she treats her fans. During down time, Teresa makes time to show her fans that she cares for them and that they’re a priority. She’s fun with them, likes to be honest with them, and it shows every time she makes room for her aka her fans.
4. She’s pro putting women of color into office.
This picture speaks words. Teresa Palmer could’ve showed both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. But instead she decided to focus on Harris, the first woman of color to be Vice President of the United States. It’s an important moment that deserves to be celebrated across all platforms and accounts.
5. She’s always been a mood, even when she was younger.
Young Teresa Palmer took all her stuffed toys on vacation because she couldn’t bear to leave any behind. If that isn’t a mood, we don’t know what is! Also, like Toy Story, she knows what’s up and isn’t leaving any toy behind!
6. She’s a strong and resilient woman.
One of the previous reasons why we admire Teresa Palmer so much is the love she holds for her family. Back in 2015 she lost a member of her family, no how matter small they were, and it hurt. But years later, you can hear the strength in her voice. She made it through and we love her even more for it.
A Discovery of Witches is set to premiere January 9th on Shudder and Sundance Now.
