It’s the season of gift giving and when you think about it – what’s the greatest gift you ever received? When you think back, what is a gift that changed your life? It can be something big or something simple.
For me, it was a set of journals from an aunt. It made me find a love of writing.
For Miles Teller, one of his – well, it was a toilet.
Yes, you’re heard me right – a toilet. Now if I am being honest, in the pandemic, I’ve learned to appreciate a toilet more and so I can understand. Especially if it’s a good and comfy toilet.
Miles spoke to Men’s Health and was talking to service members virtually. One of the was based in Tokyo and he was talking about his love for Tokyo and well, the bathrooms there.
“I was in Tokyo and that was the first time I used one of those Toto toilets. You know what one of those is, dude? It’s a heated toilet! And it sprays you and then air-dries you. They know what they’re doing over there!” Miles shared. He mentioned also that his wife got him one and it was very nice of her.
For the record – getting your man a toilet is a nice gesture. Getting your wife a kitchen appliance though – don’t do it without asking.
So where did he put this magical heated toilet? One would assume that it was in his own bathroom. But nope – he shared it with all of his guests.
“I put it in the downstairs bathroom so everybody could use it. And they spend so much time in there, it is ridiculous.”
That’s a good man. Clean, heated asses for everyone.
