Here’s the thing, Good Trouble has potential. It has always had potential. But my issue with it is that the writers don’t use that potential to the best of their ability, and instead write a show that showcases way too many stereotypes and misses the opportunity to show who people really are.
They have missed the opportunity to tap into some really deep storylines, and instead have stayed on the surface with them. And that has troubled me.
But that being said, I am still here, watching every episode, because I love Callie and Marianna.
That and the last quarter of the second season started to pick up and the show started to get better.
The third season is right around the corner, premiering February 17th, and Freeform has released the poster for the season.
Being as none of these characters have ever been afraid to open their mouths, I am intrigued with the logline, “Speak Up. Speak Out”.
The third season of Good Trouble begins February 17th on Freeform.
