Here we go!
Like every week here we bring you our preview video of A Discovery Of Witches, it’s turn for episode 7. You know the rules, we tell you our ranting, favorite scene and general impression of the episode. And, after the small miracle of the previous week, we again disagree on several things.
As you can see, we totally disagree on the ranting of this episode. Like … strongly disagree. Seriously, Lyra? But that’s how we love her. However, on the rest of the questions we are not as disagreeing as ever … in fact, even Lizzie was left wondering if Raquel and Lyra disagreed or not. From here we think that they didn’t agree … at all. What do you think?
This episode, as always happens with A Discovery Of Witches, everything works only that it doesn’t reach the top of the previous episode because, let’s face it, that was almost impossible. Here we explore a bit of the darker side of what it means for Matthew and Diana to love each other, trust each other, the challenges they must overcome together and for Matthew to learn that Diana can defend herself and that she can protect them both.
They’re equals and our Matthew has a hard time accepting it because he just wants to protect her from everything … even if she doesn’t need it. He always protects his queen … that’s why he often loses at chess. But there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that Bishmont cannot overcome together.
