Every couple of months of so, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power start trending because fans are hungry for more. Just recently, #SheRaMovie was trending, with tons of fans flooding Twitter with their hopes and dreams for more. And honestly, I’m with them. I’d love more of this world and here are 5 reasons why we should get the movie of our dreams!
1. A chance to see Adora and Catra acting as a couple.
It’s not that I want to see Adora and Catra together. It’s that I NEED to see them together. How are they as a couple? What milestones have they hit so far? Has fanfiction been right and predicted a bunch of things about their relationship? After the whirlwind adventure that they had on She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, I need to know all and then some!
2. A chance to see more of my badass She-Ra!
A huge part of me misses watching She-Ra, the big buff queen that she is, kicking ass and saving the day. Right now I feel the same withdrawal that I felt when Legend of Korra ended and I didn’t have that badass in my life on a daily basis. Both are absolute dreamboats and I would love for either of them to make a return to my life.
3. A chance to see our beloved best friend squad.
The addition of Catra to the best friend squad was exactly what this group needed. But I find myself wanting to see more of how everyone’s relationship grew, particularly Bow and Catra and Glimmer and Catra. I loved what we saw in the final season but they’re such opposing energies that I know their adventures have to be so damn entertaining.
4. A chance to see more of the Star Siblings.
WE DID NOT SPEND ENOUGH TIME WITH THESE SIBLINGS. Seriously, I would go for a whole series with them and then some. They’re just so cool, fun, and somehow fit into the show like they’d always been there. No one on the show has left an impression in the way that these have.
5. Because the fans want it.
The fans of She-Ra have been clamoring for a movie since the series ended. And honestly, with so much story still left to be told, why not? Netflix would be seen as the hero of the story and we would get more quality queer content. Win win. Also, I just thought of the fact that we can get some Scorpia and Perfuma. NOW I NEED THIS MOVIE!
