A new day, a new review! Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job” gives us a visit from an old friend we all love and a surprising guys day off that puts Harry on the ropes when his past, his present and his possible future collide. Time for review!
Here we go!
It’s always fun when guys go out to have fun alone, right? In Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job” the boys have a day off … in their own way. But, starting at the beginning, as we exclusively announced, an old friend decides to take a visit to the team and we didn’t know how much we missed Hurley until we saw him again.
We love to see him like this, so happy and continuing in the fight every day so as not to fall back on his additions. One day at a time. The one who was not very happy about Hurley’s visit is Harry. Harry sees the trust that Hurley has with the whole team, they are really close but he, in a way, feels Hurley as an intruder.

The team is all he has right now and he can’t help but feel a little apprehensive seeing Hurley treat them with such confidence, as if they are part of a private club he is not invited to. And that, right now, destabilizes him because he somehow feels that he too can lose the team. It’s irrational, but fear always is.
Fortunately, this mistrust of Harry soon disappears. Seriously, leaves the men to figure it out everything with his games. But golf brings a new and interesting case … to be solved by the guys alone.
The case was fun and intriguing and I couldn’t wait for that son of a ***** to get kicked but it was also a challenge for Harry. Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job” Harry was in the position of having to run the entire con by himself but he didn’t look prepared. He’s not the mastermind of all this, Sophie is, so he can’t help but wonder all the time what she would do. But that is not the right question.

Harry must follow his instincts, his plan, stick to it. It’s not about being Sophie or thinking like her, it’s about being Harry Wilson. Sophie knows that he is ready for this, she trusts him to do it… and she isn’t wrong. Harry needs this push of confidence to stop trying to be someone else and start directing the con in the direction his heart and instinct told him it had to go. Our baby grew so much… proud of him!
But running his own con isn’t Harry’s only challenge in Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job.” He meets a woman, Sarah, who reminds him so much of his daughter … he misses her, he wants to be by her side but he doesn’t feel worthy of it, he doesn’t feel that he has that right, he will not do it until he feels that she will be able to look at him without feeling ashamed. Harry misses her … and is trying to earn the right to return to her side.
This is why for Harry is so difficult to look at Sarah in Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job.” Because she reminds him of her daughter … but also of himself. He was a brilliant lawyer full of principles and dreams who began to be led astray too. Sarah is walking that same path and Harry knows that it leads to wrong decisions, guilt and shame. He doesn’t want that for Sarah.

So he guides her on the right path, where she deserves to be, where he would have liked to be. Because Harry would have given anything that someone would have guided him in the right direction, just as he has done for Sarah. But now it is too late for that and he is redirecting his own path. Redemption is a day-to-day struggle for Harry but thanks to it he is learning valuable lessons along the way that made him able to help Sarah.
Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job” was a challenge for Harry because this job put him in front of his past and his possible future. This episode was also the return of an old friend and we want him to be a full time team member. Hurley, Eliot, and Harry make an awesome team and we’d love to see more of them. In fact, I’d pay to see Eliot’s exasperated face again, wouldn’t you? Wink, wink.
PS: I need to know why Parker and Sophie are dressed like this! I need it!
And here ends our Leverage: Redemption 1×12 “The Golf Job” review. We will be back tomorrow with a new one! Stay tuned!

Did anyone else see the red on Elliott’s backside when Jack hugged him and picked him up? Did he have a hole in his pants and have red undies on or a tag on the ieans?
