Like the characters in the books we once loved and now have a hard time reading without cringing, at some point, everyone’s got to make a choice between what is right and what is easy. JK Rowling didn’t exactly chose right, that’s been established. But what’s remarkable is how she continues to choose wrong, over and over again. How she rejoices in being wrong and loud.
No, actually, it’s not remarkable. It’s horrible. It’s appalling. And there are many, many people, who could end up hurt by the misinformation and rage she’s spouting.
We’re not going to show you her words here. Or talk about that new movie she’s involved in. Instead, we’re going to focus on the reaction from the good people, the one choosing to stand against her.
Hopefully, one of these days, someone will take her phone away. Not for her sake — there’s really no going back there — but for ours.
