Love. That’s pretty much the word we’re using to describe “Push”. We absolutely loved all of this episode, and it may be our favorite 9-1-1: Lone Star episode so far.
“Push” started off rough with TK still in a coma, and the nurses made it clear he wasn’t going to make it. Carlos overheard the nurses comments and was absolutely devastated. After watching Carlos sitting vigil by TK’s beside, we decided two things: 1.) Carlos deserves the world; and 2.) Carlos is definitely still in love with TK.
Throughout the episode we learn what happened between TK and Carlos, and TK was the one that broke up their relationship. We would have been more furious with TK, but it’s kind of hard to me bad at someone who’s dying. BUT luckily a miracle happened and TK didn’t die. And we didn’t have to riot because TK and Carlos had a happy ending. More on that later.

In “Push” Grace continues with contractions, and she’s still stuck in her car with Billy. Luckily Billy decides to actually be useful and try to find somewhere with heat. He’s successful and they make it to a bus. Still not our ideal place to give birth, but at least there’s heat, right?
Judd, Tommy, and Owen are able to find Grace just in time. We were so happy that Judd was there to be there for the birth of his daughter and that Tommy was there to deliver the baby. Let’s be honest: did we really want Billy delivering the baby? No, we didn’t.
The scene where Grace and Billy’s daughter is born was beautiful. At the same time she’s being born, Owen has to step away. He’s overcome with emotion because he’s so upset over TK. He doesn’t know that TK is waking up at that exact moment.

The end of “Push” was pretty perfect. TK and Carlos reunite, and Grace and Judd decide to name the baby Charlie to honor Charles. We may or may not have shed a tear over that. And Lindsey’s dad gave the 126 enough money to save the firehouse! Selling milk cartons I guess does pay off?
We loved seeing the 126 happy and celebrating. It has been a difficult few weeks for everyone, and we’re so glad this ice storm is over! We’re looking forward to better times with this group and new stories next week. And we’re so excited to see Judd and Grace as parents.
